Hey cousins! It’s Oscar and Lery here! Can you believe it all started back in 2009? We met through a mutual friend and right away, we realized we both had an interest in decorating. It wasn’t long before we teamed up and started working on interior designs together for friends and family.
Fast forward just two years, and we took a leap into the world of party planning and decorating! We were still working our magic for friends and family, but soon enough, we began attracting new clients too.
In July 2017, we decided it was time to give our business a real name – and that’s how Lou And Lee Events And Designs came to life! We wanted something personal, so we combined Oscar’s middle name, Louis (shortened, of course!), with Lery’s middle name, Lee. And our motto is REAL MEN DECORATE. We are breaking the stereotypes of what people think male event designers are or should be.
Today, we’ve become a household name due to our ability to create out of this world balloon displays. We’ve even traveled across the U.S. and recently to Canada to host balloon workshops! Plus, we’re constantly busy decorating local events in Atlanta and Florida, and we’re not just stopping there—we also work on commercials, TV shows, and films!
This is just the beginning of our adventure, and we’re showing no signs of slowing down! We’re here to stay!!!”

We’ve had an incredible journey so far, teaching over 700 amazing students in our balloon workshops! Thanks to our enthusiastic supporters, (we call our supporters THE BOW TIE CREW also know as THE COUSINS), we’ve been able to host our very own balloon convention: THE BOW TIE CREW BALLOON CONVENTION. So far we’ve put on 4 conventions in total.
With our balloon family growing faster than ever, we decided to shake things up a bit and rebrand the convention to something that captures the fun and joy of balloons and togetherness: welcome to BALLOONION! A play on balloons and family reunion. 🎈
